West Point, CA – The Calaveras County Water District (CCWD) is offering customers an opportunity to have all their questions answered regarding their water flow.

A town hall will be held Wednesday January 21, at West Point Elementary School in the multipurpose room, starting at 6 p.m.  The meeting will start with a CCWD staff presentation, followed by an hour-long question and answer period.

CCWD spokesperson Joel Metzger says,  “This is an opportunity to introduce constituents to Terry Strange, who is the recently elected District 2 (West Point area) Director, and also go over the services we provide the area.  We are just doing some public outreach to get some conversations going, which is a priority for most of the board members.”

Metzgers says topics to be discussed include the drought, conservation, infrastructure and water rates.  He adds that more meetings are being planned for other districts.
