Tree Blocking Hwy108

Sonora, CA – CHP officers are directing traffic on Highway 108 as a tree has snapped and fallen over a section of the roadway.

The tree came smashing down around 4:20 p.m. blocking the eastbound lanes near Long Barn Road.  Traffic is backed up as crews are working to remove the debris.  We will bring you more information as soon as it comes into the News Center.

Update 5:35 p.m.: The CHP reports the roadway is clear and traffic is moving once again.
