Rain Expected This Weekend

High pressure will remain in control through Thanksgiving night with dry weather, mild temperatures and patchy valley fog.

The first of a series of low pressure systems will approach the region on Friday and affect the area into early next week.

According to the National Weather Service, widespread rain will be a good possibility beginning late Friday into Saturday and continue at times through early next week.

Snow levels in the Sierra Nevada will be around 6000 feet.

Light to moderate snow accumulation is expected.

The second system is expected next week.
