Columbia, CA — The shooting in downtown Sonora is not the only notable incident the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office has been investigating this weekend.
The night prior, there was an unrelated stabbing in the 22000 block of Gunsight Road in Columbia. The Sheriff’s Office says 27-year-old Adam Jimenez reported that he was involved in an altercation at his residence, and was stabbed in the neck. The Sheriff’s Office is conducting an investigation, and has identified a “person of interest.”
The name of the suspect has not been released at this time, as the investigation is ongoing.
