Playoff Bound

Sonora, CA — It’s official, both the Wildcats and the Bears will suit up for the playoffs. The CIF Sac-Joaquin Section officials made the team playoff announcements today.

Sonora High will play Marysville in Division IV at home. The Wildcats are the second seed and Marysville is the seventh. Sonora finished the season undefeated as the Mother Lode League Champions.

Summerville’s Homecoming win against Linden last night was enough to secure the Bears an at-large playoff spot. The Bears will be on the road to take on Colfax in Division V. Colfax is the number two seed and Summerville is seventh.

Both games will be played on Friday, November 14.
