Gas Prices Continue Fall

Sonora, CA — The average nationwide price of a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline has dropped 65 cents since May.

The latest Lundberg Survey of fuel prices, adds that regular unleaded has dropped 18 cents in just the past two weeks. Nationwide, the average for regular unleaded is $3.08 per gallon. San Francisco has the highest average, at $3.45 per gallon, while Memphis is the lowest at $2.73.

The myMotherLode.com gas section shows that prices in Tuolumne County range from 3.19 to 3.53.

The Lundberg Survey reports that the drop has been driven by a sharp decrease in the price of crude oil.
