Historical Match

It has been 21 year in the making.  Week 7 of the high school football season had Sonora and Summerville squared off on the gridiron for a historical match.  The last time the two met on the field was 1993.

To top it off, last night was Sonora’s Homecoming game.  The parade took to the streets in downtown Sonora yesterday afternoon in anticipation of the big game.  In the end, the Wildcats walked away with a win on their home turf 55 to 13.

Calaveras High got a win on the road against Argonaut 28 to 14.  Bret Harte High was defeated by Linden 34 to 14.
