Lights Out

Sonora, CA — There is a power outage in Sonora.  32  homes near the Junction Shopping Center off Tuolumne Road are without lights this morning.  PG& reports the power went out just before seven a.m. on Florence Way, Mark Trail, Olov Road and Rugged Trail.  A crew has been assigned to investigate the problem and is heading to the outage area.  PG&E says they do not know what caused the lights to go out.  The estimated time of repair is 10:30 a.m.

Update 7:40 a.m.: PG&E reports the number of customers without power has jumped to 119.  There is still no word on what cause the electricity to go out. The repair time remains 10:30 a.m.
