Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Supervisors will make some changes to the final fiscal year 2014-15 budget. The budget calls for approximately $168 million in spending. It funds 598 full-time equivalent positions in county government, compared to 588 the previous year.
The Board will also vote Tuesday whether to extend the local State of Emergency due to the drought, and declare a new State of Emergency due to the “actual and perceived threat of wildfires” in California.
In addition, the Board will talk about declaring a portion of the Law and Justice Center land of Old Wards Ferry Road as “excess property,” so that it can be sold to the Tuolumne County Transportation Council.
