San Andreas, CA — The CHP has released the name of a Mi-Wuk Village man who suffered major injuries in the wreck in Calaveras County north of the Carol Kennedy Airport.
The accident happened around 3:15 pm on Highway 49 at O Connell Lane between Angels Camp and San Andreas. The CHP reports 20-year-old Ben Tal Slor was driving a 1996 Subaru Legacy northbound on Highway 49 at an unknown speed. For unknown reasons he lost control of the car, went off the roadway, and rolled several time landing on its wheels.
CHP Spokesperson Becky Myers says, “Tal Slor was able to get out of the vehicle on his own, but was later flown to San Joaquin General Hospital suffering major injuries.”
Myers says alcohol was not involved in the crash.
