Warden Heidi Lackner will be the guest on Mother Lode Views this weekend. She will talk recent efforts to move more inmates into the prison fire camps. She will also speak about challenges related to gang activity behind bars, education programs offered at the prison, and improvements being made to the facility.
Lackner was appointed the Warden in April of 2013. Lackner’s background includes being a Correctional Administrator at Mule Creek State Prison from 2004 to 2011 and Folsom State Prison from 1998 to 2004. In the nineties, she worked at the Richard A. McGee Correctional Training Center, and the California State Prison in Solano.
