Valley Springs, CA — Highway 12 will be closed until approximately 2:30pm to continue cleaning up this morning’s bus accident in Calaveras County.
At around 8:30am a school bus and truck collided near Double Springs Road. No school students were on the bus at the time of the accident. The CHP reports that traffic is being re-directed to an alternate route, via Highway 49 to Highway 26.
An ambulance responded to the crash scene, but there is no word yet on the extent of injuries.
