Angels Camp, CA — The CHP reports that a pickup truck has hit a telephone pole in the Angels Camp area.
The truck has gone off Highway 49, and into a ditch south of Gun Club Road. An ambulance has been dispatched to the scene. Travel with caution in the area, and be prepared for a delay. Traffic is reportedly getting backed up near the accident. Click here to view a map of the area.
Updated at 7:55am: Both lanes of Highway 49 are currently blocked.
