The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning for the Sierra Nevada through 11 AM Sunday.
Winds of thirty to fifty mph are expected with gusts up to seventy mph near the crest.
Additionally, expect a quick round of rain and snow.
Snow levels will begin above 8000 feet tonight before dropping to 5000 feet by Sunday morning.
Up to six inches of total snow accumulation is expected above 5000 feet.
