A Little More Rain & Snow

Late Saturday night through early Sunday morning, expect a quick round of rain and snow in the Sierra Nevada accompanied by gusty winds.


Snow levels will begin above 8000 feet Saturday night before dropping to 5000 feet on Sunday morning.


Three to six inches of total snow accumulation is expected above 5000 feet.


The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Watch for the Sierra Nevada from Saturday evening through Sunday morning.


Winds of thirty to fifty mph are expected with gusts up to seventy mph near the crest.
