Sierra Nevada Winter Storm Warning Extended

The Winter Storm Warning for the Sierra Nevada above 7000 feet, remains in effect until 4 am Monday.

Up to six inches of additional snow accumulation is expected above 6500 feet. Seven to eighteen inches of additional snow is anticipated above 8000 feet.

According to the National Weather Service, snow levels remain between 6500 and 8000 feet.

Winds of ten to fifteen mph will continue with gusts from thirty-five to eighty mph over the highest elevations.
