Sonora, CA — Emergency crews are responding to a two vehicle crash on the Highway 108 Bypass and Peaceful Oak Road. The CHP reports a pickup and a sedan have crashed and one of the vehicles has overturned and is on fire. There are also reports someone may be trapped inside that vehicle. Motorists will want to take precaution in the area and be prepared to stop.

Update 5:55 p.m.: The CHP report this is now a fatal accident.
Update 6 p.m.: The CHP reports the roadway has been cleared and traffic is moving.
