Update: Two Power Outages In Mother Lode

Update at 10:30am: Over 900 PG&E customers are still without power in the Copperopolis area. PG&E has pushed the estimated restoration time to 1pm. There is no word on the cause.

Meanwhile, a new outage is impacting 439 customers in the area of Phoenix Lake Road and Longeway Road. PG&E has not released the cause. The company hopes to have everyone restored by 1pm.

Original story posted at 6:55am: Copperopolis, CA — 931 PG&E customers are without electricity in Calaveras County.

PG&E reports that the outage started at around 10:45 last night, and the latest restoration estimate is 10am. The outage has forced the closure of Copperopolis Elementary today because there is no electricity.
