Update: Warming Shelters

Sonora, CA — Some warming shelters have closed and others have moved.

The Hard Freeze Warning for the Mother Lode below 2000 feet has been extended through 8 am Wednesday. One warming shelter remains opened in Tuolumne County. It has moved back to its original location at the Enrichment Center at 101Hospital Road. That is behind the old Tuolumne General hospital building. The shelter is open 24/7 and will remain open until Wednesday at 8am.


All other shelters, including one in Groveland and four in Calaveras County, have been closed.
