Name Released In Rollover Crash

Tuolumne County, CA β€” A Groveland man is injured after a rollover crash at the bottom of Old Priest Grade. The CHP reports 68-year-old Lyle Andersen was driving a GMC Yukon pulling a trailer when he lost control on a curve.

CHP Spokesperson Nick Norton says, β€œHe applied his brakes and the trailer began to push the Yukon in a clockwise rotation. The truck then went off the north shoulder of the road. Both the truck and trailer overturned twice and separated. They came to rest about 70 ft. down the embankment in a creek bed.”

Andersen was taken to Sonora Regional Medical Center complaining of back pain. Drugs and alcohol were not a factor in the crash.
