No Injuries Reported In Confidence Fire

Confidence, CA — Fire officials have contained the early morning blaze at the Confidence Inn and Bar.


CAL Fire Battalion Chief Jeff Sanders says cause of the fire is under investigation. The fire did the heaviest damage to the bar area. The first call came in at about 5:30am. No injuries have been reported. Highway 108 was shut down near the Confidence Inn and Bar, and traffic was being directed to Middle Camp Road. Fire officials report that Highway 108 is now back open.  


Firefighters will be doing mop-up operations over the next several hours. The total dollar damage is not immediately known. Click here to view a map.
