New Office Perks

San Andreas, CA — The Calaveras County Water District (CCWD) is officially moved into it new building. CCWD recently held a grand opening and dedication for the new facility.

General Manager Mitchell Dion says, “Staff is sort through things and trying to improve the system. We had people who on three floors and two different buildings so now we’re finding more efficiency being on one floor.”

Dion says they have been able to cut expenses also by needing fewer copy machines with fewer floors to cover. He says it is not only more convenient for staff, but customers as well to have all employees in the same building.

The building cost $3.1 million and is 14,000 square feet at 267 George Reed Drive. Click here for an earlier story on the building.
