Update: Motorcycle Crash

Groveland, CA — The CHP has released the name of the man involved in a motorcycle crash on the top of New Priest Grade/Hwy120 east of Grizzly in Tuolumne County just after Noon today. 44 year-old Nathan Kennison of Santa Maria was going around 25mph when he lost control of the 2005 Harley Davidson on a curve.

The CHP says Kennison told them he realized he was too close to the shoulder and hit the brake. He was ejected from the bike, landing on his back. They say Kennison was in and out of consciousness and was complaining of back pain. He was taken to Sonora Regional Medical Center with a broken arm.

The bike flipped and landed on the eastbound lane of the roadway. That section was closed down for about a half an hour as the wreckage was cleared.
