Sonora, CA – The Sonora Police Department has re-opened Washington Street.
The road was closed for nearly 45 minutes, from the Red Church to Courthouse Park, due to a fluid spill. Traffic was diverted to Stewart and Green Streets. It is not immediately known what vehicle was responsible for the incident.
The Police Department is warning motorists to use caution in the area due to particles on the roadway and sand from the cleanup effort.
