A-TCAA Wins 300k In Grants For InfoNet Project

The Amador-Tuolumne County Community Action Agency has received 300 thousand dollars in awards to fund the agency´s InfoNet project. A website, with information on all community services and a network of 16 neighborhood information centers is expected to be up and running by March.

The program is designed to help those in need to find help with child care, home visits and transportation for the elderly, plus many other community services.

75 thousand dollars came from the Community Technology Foundation of California, while 226,514 dollars were awarded by the Technology Opportunities Program of the U.S. Department of Commerce
