Federal energy regulators are pitching in to help power generators collect a 1.2 billion dollar electric bill from the state of California. The state has been slow to pay generators because it didn´t get an invoice.
The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission is ordering the power grid manager, who pays the generators, to bill the state within 15 days.
