Gas Prices Falling

Gas prices have fallen nearly 7 cents nationwide over the past two weeks, for a total drop of more than 28 cents per gallon since September Seventh.

A new study says the average retail price of a gallon of gasoline, including all grades and taxes, was one dollar and 28 cents. Gas cost one dollar and 56 cents a gallon on September Seventh.

Analysts say low crude oil prices, a plentiful supply and weak demand have caused the drop.

And, thereĀ“s even more good news.

A gallon of gas costs less now than it did a year or even two years ago. Gasoline cost one dollar and 60 cents November of 2000 and one dollar and 31 cents in November 1999.
