Tuolumne Utilities District officials are advising Sonora area residents that there is NO need to be concerned about water quality in the general vicinity.
The State Health Department has issued a “Boil Water” notice to residents of Phoenix Lake Country Club Estates only to boil their water, because of fecal coliform contamination in that water district only. The problem does not apply to T-U-D customers. Reports on some Sacramento television stations have overstated the situation.
