Around 9:30 last night National Forest Service firefighters contained a four acre brush and timber fire near
West Grant Ridge in Tuolumne County around 8 miles northeast of Columbia.
CDF crews extinguished a small brush fire near Yosemite Junction on
Highway 108 10:30 last night. Three power poles were burned, forcing electrical power to be turned off in the area. The cause of both fires are under
investigation.
