A Roseville area dentist could spend 60 days in jail and pay a one thousand dollar fine after pleading no contest to charges that he fondled a female patient while she got a root canal. Brian M. Lawton of Granite Bay will also be on probation for three years.
Lawton’s attorney says any touching was inadvertent and he’ll ask the judge for alternative sentencing that would keep the dentist out of jail.
