Calaveras County Public Health Department has just won a one-hundred and $113,000 two-year grant for child safety seat program.
During a Saturday press conference in Valley Springs, Calaveras County officials announced the grant award.
The funding from the California Office of Traffic Safety will assist the county in distributing, education and fitting of safety seats.
