A brush burn in the Stanislaus National Forest near Hathaway Pines is underway. Smoke will be visible in the area for the next few days.
Crews will be burning slash this week near Winton Road in the Forester Flat area, left from logging operations in the McCormick Meadows area east of Highway 4. The burn is expected to end Wednesday.
