Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating the passing of a counterfeit five-dollar bill at Chips Chevron when a customer paid his bill. The counterfeit bill was mixed in with other bills. He was seen leaving the area in a Green Toyota 4-by-4.

Deputies are also investigating the theft of a bag of golf clubs from the 18 thousand block of Seventh Avenue, and a rifle stolen from a Grey Chevy Pickup at the C&C Minimart on Victoria Way, all in Jamestown.
