High humidity and cloud cover has helped firefighters gain containment of a five-acre fire near Armstrong Road, about a mile west of Arnold.
Calaveras County CDF spokesperson Sharron Torrance says full containment was expected by 10:00 p.m Friday night, and full control by 10:00 p.m. Saturday. The fire is not a threat to homes.
