County Supervisors To Hear Forest Matters

Tuolumne County Supervisors will have a visit from Acting Stanislaus National Forest Supervisor Glenn Gottschall Tuesday morning.

Gottschall will give county lawmakers an update on “key forest management matters” in a presentation scheduled for 10:30 a.m.

In other business, the Supervisors will consider plans for rehabilitation of the Mark Twain Cabin replica off Highway 49.

The Supes are also expected to give approval to opening the bid process for Columbia Airport runway and terminal improvements and rehabilitation.

The Supervisor´s meeting begins at 9 a.m. in the County Administration Center on South Green Street in Sonora.
