Authorities are searching for a convicted burglar who walked out of a San Diego county jail this morning.
43 year old Basilio Vargas was last seen at around 8:30 a.m. at the East Mesa Detention Facility in southern San Diego.
Authorities describe the five foot nine, 145 pound Hispanic man as a low security risk who worked in the laundry and had greater freedoms than other inmates.
