The Bakersfield mother whose children died in a fire while she was out celebrating the New Year has been booked for investigation of felony child endangerment. Jodi Saldana was arrested in connection with the deaths of 6-year-old Charles and 3-year-old Sklylar. Saldana came home as the fire was burning and was injured trying to reach her children.
