The F-B-I is bringing in a remotely operated submersible vehicle to help search a Sierra foothills reservoir for submerged bodies as part of an organized crime investigation.
A sonar-equipped boat spotted several deep areas of Lake Don Pedro that scuba divers couldn´t reach Monday.
A spokesman says the F-B-I is arranging for the submersible to search those areas, but that will take several days.
Authorities also want to know if a body found last fall in New Melones Lake is related to the case. The dead man had his hands bound and a plastic bag over his head.
