Highway 4 Ebbetts Pass in Calaveras County in now opened to all motor vehicle traffic as of noon Friday.
Caltrans spokesman Robert Spradling said the Sonora Pass in Tuolumne County on Highway 108 should be reopened for the spring on May 25. The pass opening date is contingent upon weather conditions and equipment available, he said.
Highway 120 Tioga Pass is maintained and opened by the National Park Service Road Department. For opening date of Tioga Pass, motorists should contact the NPS Road Department at (209)372-0506.
