Bishop Hands Over List To Prosecutors

The San Francisco Roman Catholic Archdiocese has handed over to prosecutors a list of about 40 names. The list includes current and former priests and lay people who´ve been the targets of sexual abuse complaints. A source told the San Francisco Chronicle that former Monsignor Patrick O´Shea´s name is among them. O´Shea faced charges of molesting altar boys. Those charges were dismissed because of the statute of limitations. But the Chronicle reported that latest complaint could lead to a new prosecution. District Attorney Terence Hallinan had asked for 75 years of records.
