Seven people were arrested yesterday in the Valley Springs area after a warrant sweep by Calaveras County Sheriffs deputies. Charges ranged from possession of narcotics, threatening a peace officer, driving under the influence and various outstanding warrants. Officials say they plan continued warrant sweeps in the area.
