Tuolumne County fire units quickly contained acre and a half grass fire on Campbells Flat Road near Campo Seco Road just east of Jamestown.
Fire crews had the fire contained at 12:30 p.m. Thursday. Fire officials say the fire was surrounded by roads and was burning into the wind. No homes were threatened.
