Fire officials say a blaze off Cavalieri Road and Highway 108 Wednesday night was deliberately set. An arson investigator is going to be on the scene to gather evidence today.
The CDF in San Andreas says the fire may have been started in an illegal dumpsite there, and spread to the surrounding grass.
It burned less than half an acre.
