Wildfire Burn In So-Cal Today

We may have snow on the ground here, but in Southern California it´s a different story.

Winds of up to 50 miles-per-hour fueled two small wildfires early this morning in the Malibu hills, forcing residents of about 30 homes to flee.

Authorities say a ten-acre fire burning in Corral Canyon remains uncontained. A five-acre fire in Latigo Canyon, less than three miles away, was contained within two hours.

A red flag warning signaling high fire danger and high wind warnings are in effect through Tuesday.
