More than 200 California classroom teachers urged their local lawmakers to quickly approve the governor´s revised budget plan in order to avoid deeper cuts that endanger the school system.
The budget plan reflects the strong wishes of parents and voters to maintain public education as a priority.
Governor Davis´s plan includes $1.5 billion in targeted education cuts, but would refund the state´s Class Size Reduction Program, Special Education, and our schools of greatest need program.
