Emergency units in the Columbia area — at the scene of a motorcycle accident on Union Hill Road at Parrots Ferry Road just before 7 a.m. this morning — say two people were hurt.
CHP officers at the scene say a passenger on the bike, the motorcycle driver´s wife, also injured, was dazed and walked away from the crash. She was located a short time later on a near-by road. The couple transported to Sonora Regional Medical Center for treatment. No word yet on the extent of their injuries.
