A wildfire last evening in the Buck Meadows area burnt a quarter acre of timber and destroyed a 1977 Jeep Wagoneer. Fire dispatchers say the blaze on Hells Hollow Road was first reported around 6:15 p.m.
Fire crews were also dispatched just after 10 p.m. last night to a roadside grass fire along Highway 108 at Kennedy Road. That blaze was quickly contain, but fire dispatchers did not have an exact size of the burn.
