Searchers looking overnight for a small airplane carrying a pilot and a passenger who were supposed to return to the Oakdale Airport at 2 o´clock Tuesday afternoon following a sight-seeing flight.
Stanislaus County sheriff´s spokesman Kelly Huston says the plane was last seen on radar at 2:13 p.m. yesterday headed northeast.
The search continued last night. Huston says a Sheriff´s Department plane equipped with an infrared night-vision camera was searching a 25-mile radius from the Oakdale Airport.
The local Civil Air Patrol also had an airplane aloft.
