“Dangerous” School Changes Approved

The state Board of Education has approved changes in its definition of a “persistently dangerous´ school, adding firearm violations by a non-student to the list of violations that count toward the tally. The federal No Child Left Behind act required states to define what makes a school “persistently dangerous” and lets students at those schools transfer.
