There are reports of out-of-control inmates on an inmate work camp crew.
Guards were heard over the radio calling for assistance from law enforcement
Officals have so far been unable to make contact with the crew, supposedly in the remote Wagner Ridge area south of Groveland near the Mariposa county line.
A CHP helicopter is heading in that direction.
